As the Ogre climbs over the battlements, Dolch bends low and tumbles over towards Himlor's side, plunging his shortsword straight into the ogre's vitals in the process (1d6+7+6d6+7d6 = 52dmg).

(while passing Himlor, Dolch uses White Raven Tactics on him- really have no clue how to describe it. If you choose squall, take a second full round action but your Initiative will drop to 19, before drew & scott. This is in addition to your readied standard action AND this round's full action)

Talence's sword continues his chant while he changes his speech to that of a spell. A burst of energy (Haste spell) spreads from the guardhouse, covering everyone in the two squads (the whole party) and a number of the MGE longbows.
(note: ppl who go AFTER talence gets his haste effect this round... yes the combat order is still effective to some extent).

Derovarr raised his halberd, to block the trolls incoming attacks, and then moved it left to completely negate the attack. In retaliation, Derovarr lashed out with three decisive slashes.

Derovarr then realized that the support had finally arrived, and called out to them, seeking to rally their spirits.

Just as he raised their spirits, it seemed as though his own soul seemed to bolster itself. As he raised his fist skyward, he felt divine energy well up inside him, and his eyes began to glow a pure, holy white.

(Derovar's rally also puts everyone to Fanatical status - you were heartened status before, forgot to write down. Fanatical = +4 morale to attack, saves, & skills. This does not stack with the current Inspire Courage)

"Okay," Jens mutters, "let's make absolutely sure nothing's getting through the gate, then I'll get to work on those ogres."

He flies down to a distance at which he can both cast his spell, and can say something that Kati will hear (in a moment). "Cloudkill!"

(This being Dai's game, I'm fairly confident these guys have 6 or more HD. So, Con damage. 1d4= 3, Fort save DC 32 for half)

While down there, he yells to Kati, "Hey, Colonel, There's this wierd voice in my head that keeps critiquing my performance and rattling on and on about 'potential', and it's getting really annoying. Started about the time that meteor thing showed up. Can the guys downtown tell if it's emitting anything like psychic emanations or something?"

Kati heard the 'voice' over the telecom and mentally shouted, "Sacred Kingdom! They stole the sword! What are they trying to do now?!"
Feeling the divine energy from Talence's spell wash over her, she looks around and notices everything moving slower, like time had slowed down for everything except her.

Hearing Jens's casting and seeing the greenish fog decend outside the gate, she smiled, knowing the tides were turning. "I'll ask them!" she yelled in response to his query. Via the telecom she inquired of Anstrun, "That thing isnt emitting anything in the psychic or telepathic bands, right? I've got a man here who started hearing voices when it showed up."

Seeing Ranmor on the ground and a troll behind him and hearing Derovarr's battle cry, Kati realizes she has to at least incapacitate that troll - and fast. Recalling a spell she studied in the morning that involved using ones life energy to deal more damage - a necromancy spell, she cast the spell, sacrificing some of her own health.

Kati turns and slashes the troll, feeling a surge of energy from her belt on the first attack.

why don't I get skirmish on my readied attack? it applies to anytime that I have moved at least 10ft. on that round, which I have.

(btw, dolch is flanking it on the other side for you since he tumbled across it. So there's no real point for distracting ember, nor room for it.)

The ogre gives a yell and falls backwards, flips over the battlements and with a loud thud, hits the ground below.
