Malorix shakes off the demon's vile magic (Will save 31) and gives the demon his rebuttal: two mighty waves of holy energy (1 MP for extra standard action; channel energy to harm evil outsiders x2; #1: 5+6+5+3+6=25, #2= 6+1+3+5+4=19, Will save DC 16 for half.)

EDIT: He then moves back out of easy flanking position, having gone into the middle of the room to do that.

When Daveed touches the banner, there is a wave of... assurance that comes over all of you. As if Iomedae herself whispered "Stand strong mortals, you have already won. Now finish the fight."

Cernandlon's arrows all pass through the demon again, but he notices that it is taking longer and longer for the holes of hellfire to close up.

Staunton is KO'd

The tiefling hobbles around the corner, leaving a trail of vomit before dry heaving in front of a statue of Deskari.

The succubus fails to escape the strange grappling force. (Nat 1)

Henric and Epicette are up.

Henric moves into the room and fires another large blob of acid at the succubus (Orb of Acid).

The orb struck her in the small of her back and the acid dribbled down her legs, causing her to writhe in pain. Surprisingly she still seems to be alive.

Epicette crunches her fingers once more, using the same telekinetic force to hold the succubus in place. She then swoops down towards the sleeping babau, pulling a longspear out as she does before driving its tip through the eye socket and into his head.

Epicette's spear ruins the babau who then fades from existance.

The shadow demon advances into the room and Cernandlon's senses grow dim. (Will save vs. evil outsider SP ability)

Daveed, Malorix, and Cernandlon are up.

Malorix calls upon the power of legend, firstly to regain the use of his Prayer spell (which he casts) and secondly to enable him to the attack after moving to flank position with the shadow demon.

Cernandlon's arrows continue to disrupt the demon.

Daveed manages to hit the demon, but for some reason, Radiance doesn't seem to be able to harm the shadow stuff.


Malorix's spell barely seems to get through the demon's spell resistance. Unfortunately, his sword seems to have no effect on the shadow stuff the demon is made from.

Staunton continues to lie down passed out.

The tiefling can be heard dry heaving around the corner.

The succubus struggles against the force that was holding her and actually seems to overpower it. She is now free.

Henric and Epicette are up.

Henric takes a quick step back to put some space between the shadow demon and himself and then creates a swirling lightshow that coalesces into translucent spiky balls. He then throws the balls at the demon (Battering Blast via Wild Arcana).

SR: max(2d20)+15=32
Orb 1: 1d20+12=32 touch, confirmation 1d20+12=27 touch, 5d6+1=17 force damage (34 if crit)
Orb 2: 1d20+12=17 touch +5 surge=22, 5d6+1=19 force damage
Bull rush: max(1d20+11BAB+7CHA,1d20+11BAB+7CHA+10 for being targetted twice)=35

If the bull rush succeeds, it has to make a Ref save DC 20 or fall prone.

(EDIT: surged the second attack roll if the first hit doesn't finish it off)
(EDIT2: this is a swift action, saving the rest of the round until after to see if it's dead)

Henric's first orb hits but his second goes wide. The demon was able to resist the bullrush and is still apparently alive.

Henric shrugs, mutters a quick word of power, and splays his hand wide open. A bolt of shimmering force flies out of each finger, striking the demon before it can react (Empowered Magic Missile).
