Niles looks through the pile of refuse.

A bit wobbly, Enlali allows Niles to lead her.

"What things?" she asks Manizei. Being unable to get her bearings is making her feel nervous. "Things like monsters? Things like shoes?"

Manzei winces at having forgotten Enali' current state.
"I'm sorry," she apologises quietly and sincerely. "I'm not sure how to describe them, but there are pictures on the walls here. One of the paintings I recognise, the others are a ... spiky, twisty plant of some sort, and thin, four-armed creatures. I think it's a warning, since the one thing I recognise was found down here."

Harskgun also takes a look at the refuse pile, wondering if there's any useful materials in it, his dagger at the ready in case the pile turns out to contain more then junk.

The party encounters no hostiles in the junk heap, and indeed nothing of value presents itself until the party accidentally moves something load-bearing and a human-sized rectangular box falls, breaks its lock, and busts open, revealing a green-and-black Medium-sized suit composed of unknown materials. Knowledge:Engineering, anyone?

Also, anyone who cares to may make Knowledge: Local or Knowldege: Geography upon either examining the chalk drawings or hearing Manizei describe them.

"Wonder what a perfectly good set of armor was doing in here..." Harskgun ponders aloud.

"It was locked in there," Manizei notes, lowering her rifle as nothing seems ready to attack them. "Although, considering how easily it fell open ...." she frowns.
"I'm not sure ... either whoever found this had something better already, or they ran into something nasty before they could get it open?"

Between the two of them, Harskgun and Niles determine that they're looking at a timeworn deep diving suit (technology guide pg 55, 29.) It looks more or less ok, but only has four charges left. Closer inspection of the container's lock reveals evidence of determined but fruitless efforts to pry it open; these previous attempts must have loosened it up for you.

As to the drawings, Niles has no idea what the plants could be, but the strange four armed creatures are unknown as well. Unknown in the sense of, definitely not from Numeria, and possibly foreign to Golarion itself.

"Well, we could use this to get people back up through that water if they're having trouble swimming," Harskgun says after they determine what the object is, "Shame it isn't in better condition, though. Any luck figuring out what those four-armed things in the drawing are?"

Emma looks at the suit and feels uneasy.

As for the drawings, her blank stares indicates no idea.

(Once you're done there, are you proceeding south or southeast?)

After at least two, maybe three, minutes of looking over the cave drawings (including looking at some of his notes), Niles delcares, "I have no earthly idea what these creatures are. Perhaps more clues lie within?"

"Shall we press south?"

"It seems as good as the other direction to me," Manizei says after a few more moments looking at the pictures on the wall.
"I would say to be careful, but," she smiles faintly. "That would be just a bit redundant at this point, wouldn't it?"

"South it is!" Enlali grins at no one in particular.
