(Repeating his exact actions from last round, just at a different location) Dolch blinks back to sight before vanishing again, bringing forth another cut on the ogres (14d6+7 = 49dmg) before it collapses onto the stone ground.

Talence moves upwards by 40ft from the Clarion, watched the retreating longbows. He quickly casts Inspirational Boost before yelling after them "The gods bless us in this fight! The enemy is in full retreat and victory is in sight!" he points his sword towards the east "hold fast this last moment and the day shall be ours!". Talence then proceeds his rally into a battle-chant (Inspire Courage raised to +4, courageous rally effect, 1d20+13 = 21 rally)

Hearing the call from Talence, Derovarr proceeded to cut into the trolls hide once again, as a nearby ramp flickered out of existence from Kati's dispel.

Another ramp vanishes from existence (open ramps remaining: 2 to north, 1 to south, 3 to more-south blockaded).

Derovar's flurry of attacks causes another troll to drop. Everyone else around him simply stares in awe as he returns from being blurry while unleashing a storm of steel. (8 attacks in one round for 365dmg =O) The dozen longbowmen who were retreating just a second ago shouted in encouragement, holding their position near the gatehouse stairs and drawing arrows to shoot the remaining ogres and trolls in sight.

The troll near Himlor is now badly injured but still standing and swaying only slightly. Meanwhile his wounds are slowly regenerating.

Samael blasts another ramp with GDM and watches as it flickers out of existence (5/9 remaining: 2 north, 3 south blockaded)

Ranmor runs north about 100ft, impales and crushes another ogre under his Duom (serious you're too deadly :p)

Jens zaps the troll with another Scorching Ray (think maybe I have two or three of these left. Not sure exactly)

(frankly, until Scott gets Arcane Spellsurge and starts burning spells at a rate higher than 1/rnd, I don't think he'll run out of spells to power scorching ray )
(something most players forgot: remember you can always use a higher level slot to power a lower level spell. Without metamagic this is kind of a waste, but comes in handy when needed).

The ~dozen remaining longbows on the wall held their position near the gatehouse stairs and shot several volleys out, striking and killing several of the ogres and trolls trying to run away from the battle. Meanwhile the squad of longbows what was holding the gates were rushing up the gatehouse stairs, leaving only 2 behind as sentries.

The war-wizards fly up and closer to the wall (front units 80ft west of wall, 40ft up from road - same height as the gatehouse). They launched over two dozen fireballs, which soared towards the enemy groups north of Ranmor and exploded, killing almost all of the ogre and trolls in that area (they left the three engaged w/ Ranmor alone, rearing them might hit him). Those who survived the blast, noticed the rest of their comrades are either dead or fleeing, ran down the ramps and away from the fighting.

The three near Ranmor (AC 33 = 32base +2recit +1haste -2charge), denied of a path of retreat (ramp dispelled), fought for their lives. Each of them moved 5ft back (15ft from Ranmor) and lashed out with their chains, only one of them managed to hit (19dmg).

One of the ogres south of Himlor blockading the MG infantry falls under their spears, while the other two steps back and continues to smash their chains against the infantry's tower shields. The ogre within reach of Himlor (15ft south) slings his chain towards him and misses.

Over the telecomm, Kovis reports opposing worg cavalry in full retreat. In their haste many of them stumbled through portions of the glyph minefields that were still untouched, triggering the holy storms that burnt away at their skin and taking heavy casualties. Kovis' heavy cavalry was unable to keep up with the worgs, but he led his elite squad of pegasi cavaliers in pursuit, slashing and spell-blasting the fleeing worg squads.

In the north, infantry forces under Cary and Lenneth has reclaimed the NE city walls and are now eradicating isolated groups of orcs still within the city and on the walls.

Raising his sword in the name or pelor, Talence swings towards the north, calling down a pillar of fire that blasts the two ogres fighting the MG infantry (DC21, 13d6 = 37dmg).

Dolch blinked once again in and out of sight, then slashes the ogre south of Himlor. [1d6+7+13d6 = 49dmg]

After granting another rally, Derovarr searches quickly for the next challenge. Seeing Ranmor in combat with three ogres, he rushes to the aid of his ally. "I'm on my way Ranmor!" He yelled as he raised his axe high in the air and charged the closest ogre he could reach.

(Swift action to chainge stance to Leading the charge, then Charge attack).
(Attack: 1d20+31=40. Damage: 1d10+13+14(stance)+2d6(good)+6d6(auras)=74)

Himlor slashes the ogre trice with his spiked chain, whom collapses after the second attack (the third simply dealing overkill damage).

Derovar runs north and cuts down on the ogre to Ranmor's east with his halberd axe. The ogre staggers heavily under the attack but manages to hold himself up, bleeding heavily from the injuries.
