"And, uh... no, I don't think we have been introduced." Felix grabs a barstool and sits down. He extends a hand toward Calen. "Name's Felix. Pleasure to finally make your acquaintance, good sir."

To Dave: After taking the long trip to Castar's lair in the seedy underbelly of Sharn's central plateau, Aiolos arrives at the entrance to Castar's office/lair. The door opens and the voice of the gnome beckons you inwards "Aiolos, come on in! I'm up in the map room."

To Squall: Nightwing speaks to you in accented Common, saying it feels great to be out of the cramped aviary and that she is looking forward to travelling again. After a short flight, you arrive back at the docks and find the building that is serving as your headquarters.

After checking in with his new temporary land based residence and making sure everything is in order, Manta then unsaddles Nightwing, and tells her that she may go and streach out her wings, maybe enjoy a good hunt as long as she is back before nightfall. (collar is still on)

He then figures that everyone is enjoying a free round at Trunac's, and nobody wants to miss out on free booze, so off he flies under his own power. He also invited any of his guard squad that was around the house if they wanted to come.

To Squall:
Nightwing flies off in a southerly direction, following the docks on a slow trip around them, you see her dive into the water and fly back out a few times, presumably catching fish. Your HQ in Grayflood is still mostly empty, but the four Honor Guard soldiers under your command (Honor Guard: Bartz, Biggs, Cid, and Wedge) have moved in and cleaned the place up a bit. Being the first ones there, they immediately snagged good quarters on the second floor of the three-story building. As you walk in, you find Bartz and Wedge turning a closet on the first floor into a small armory, unloading some boxes filled with arrows, crossbow bolts, and mundane weapons that were sent with them from Karrnath. They say they will head over to the tavern after they finish up their work. On the second floor, you find Biggs and Cid cleaning up what looked like it was originally a kitchen, but was currently being used as a den for a sizable group of non-monstrous spiders. And maybe a rat or two. Up on the third floor you find Sophie setting up her quarters and office. She fininshes hanging a picture on the wall and decides to follow you to the tavern. Following you out of the building, she sets off on foot followed by Bartz and Wedge as you fly off towards Trunac's inn.

Manta would be flying beside them, leading the way. "Looks like you've gotten a good start setting up the HQ. Thanks for that. Glad to see you're starting to relax Sophie." he says as they make their way to the tavern.

"On my way!" Aiolos walks up the stairs to the map room.

to Dave:
Aiolos proceeds up the stairs, and into the map room. You've been here before, but the room still amazes you every time you see it. The majority of the room is taken up by a large scale model of the entire city of Sharn, with small glowing dots of different colors represnting positions of Boromar members, as well as known members of the Tyrants, Daask, and the locations of key figures in Sharn. Scattered across the model are areas glowing different colors, represnting magical signals that the device picks up. Also, a new series of markers have appeared on the map since the last time you saw it, a series of red flags clustered in Firelight, Downstairs, and a few in Sharn's Welcome. Castar is hovering over Tavick's Landing, staring at a large blotch of green in High Walls. He reaches down and mutters some words, but the green remains as he mutters more to himself, cursing in Gnomish and several other languages.

to Squall:
Wedge replies to Manta as the four of them proceed to the tavern, "Thank you sir, I hope that Biggs and Cid can handle themselves back there, some of those spiders looked mighty large," he says with a laugh, and is joined by Bartz and Sophie. "Sorry about yesterday Sir, that storm left me kind of shaken up," she says as she digs out a newspaper and tosses it to Manta, "you also seem to be making a name for yourself, thats today's Korranberg Chronicle." The cover has a picture of Manta and Bruce Ismay, the head of the local Blue Moon Line office that you met the night before, and a lengthy article as well.

Aundair: Queen Aurala praises the current peace at a press conference on the 1st. Says "It is a good sign that the people of Khorvaire can once again sleep easy at night without worrying about what conflict the next day will bring."
Breland: King Boranel is reportedly going to be making a trip to Sharn to discuss matters with the Lord Mayor sometime within the next week.
Cyre: This space intentionally left blank.
Karrnath: The northern Karrnathi winter is proving to be especially long this season, with the northern part of Scion's Sound still frozen over, cutting off the majority of water access to Rekkenmark. There are also reports that King Kaius III my be working up a remarkable plan to rebuild the White Bridge that connected Karrnath to Thrane before the War.
Thrane: Silver Flame announces record high membership - Numbers of people attending services are at record highs say Silver Flame officials.
Zilargo: Elemental vessel production still in a slump say Gnomish officials, they are now offering price cuts on all elemental vessels.)

Aiolos, after entering the room, eventually pipes up. "Is something wrong with the map?"

"Heh. Good to know. Hey! Price cuts on Elemental Vessels! hmmm... too bad I just got those upgrades to our other ships. Maybe they'll still be cheap after our next adventure. As for Cid and Biggs, I figure they'll be alright. Maybe they'll get some target practice with their bows."

To Dave:
Castar stops swearing, "I don't know, it picked up a huge magical signature in the area of Tavick's Landing this morning, but it went away quickly and all thats left is this damned lingering aura according to the map. But I can't get any details on it, so I'm just going to chalk it up to a system glitch. Someone probably fireballed the sensor out there. I'll have a look at it later. Anyways, welcome back from your trip to wherever it was you went. You haven't missed anything big, just some strange maneuvers by the Daask Syndicate."

To Squall:
"They'll be fine, the spiders weren't as big as some I saw in Stormreach. As for elemental vessels, you barely have enough sailors to crew the Night's Dawn right now anyway. Speaking of our next adventure, what is it? Or should I be putting advertisements in the papers for people to call us with work?" Sophie replies as the four of them cross into Sharn's Welcome.

[Laharl]

Aiolos smiles. "Thanks, it's good to be back. The trip was...invigorating. Strange, you say? How so, beyond Daask's usual oddities?"

((I know zilch OOC about Daask, so if that was totally wrong, just edit it out.))

"Calen." he answered simply, before taking another deep drink.

To Dave:
"Well, they've never made so many moves this fast. They've hit numerous taverns under our protection in the past week, as well as bordellos controlled by the Tyrants. Thankfully all the attacks have been centered in Firelight, Downstairs, and Sharn's Welcome so far, but they show no signs of stopping anytime soon. And they always seem to attack when none of our eyes are around."

Aiolos looks pensieve, "That says to me that we've been infiltrated. I assume you have appropriate countermeasures prepared?" Aiolos's tone implies he has no intention of inquiring about said countermeasures. "Got anything you need me to do, or can I kick my heels back for a day or two?"
