I'm in. I've not the slightest as to what I'll be playing.

Either period is fine with me, really.

I should be able to play, but I may have severe time constraints over the summer.

since this is a rather high level administrative and command campaign, I don't expect the pace to run extremely fast. We'll see on that though. There will be lots of thinking involved that's for sure. But with WoL as an outlet for a lot of my creativity I won't be as hasty on this as I am in PCS I think...

so with Drew/Judson's agreement, we'll be having this game in the Reunification Era...

The Imperium Legion - the legion is the official military of the Terran Imperium, self-explanatory [commander: Star Marshal Aoric Zanaikin]

The Knightly Orders - the knightly orders are responsible for keeping order within the Imperium. They are considered the highest level of civil and military law enforcement. One of the Grand Masters of the order is selected to become the leader of the orders, also known as the Knight Grand Cross, which serves as the highest ranking judiciary officer in the Imperial government.
1st Order: Order of the Cross Knights (Kreuzritter) - An order from old Earth, also common referred as the Imperial Inquisition. They are the Bureaucratic Inquisitors of the Imperial government, responsible for rooting out corruption from within the civil administration. The Kreuzritters can also use weave magic better than anyone else, which makes them the most powerful capable squad-level combatants. 2nd Order: Order of the Knight Enforcers - The knight order of old Norinth, Knight Enforcers are responsible for civil law enforcement within the Imperium. 3rd Order: Order of the Knight Vindicators - The knight order of Misalin, Knight Vindicators are attached to the military, serving as champions on the field as well as military police. Because of their history, the Knight Vindicators has significant friction with the Field Legion and the Knight Enforcers. So, Dai, what's the word on Half-Orcs?

How about Warforged? Surely a few of them could have survived.

Any surviving warforged pretty much went into the wilderness, seeing as the Imperials (and most of the world for that matter) don't see them as any better than golems. Given the Imperials' particularly bad history with cyborg troops and the fact that Miros has a personal grudge against them, not only do the Imperial military not support them but the Imperium itself. Any warforged found are typically "deactivated".
