Harskgun fights back the urge to glare at Ulreth, being no fan of the man pushing gambling on everyone. He likewise pockets his 100GP and heads off with Niles to speak to the dark-haired man.

The man smiles broadly as you approach the bar. "Ah, hello there! Tell me, is what Garmen said true? You're some of the adventurers delving beneath the Hill? How exciting! You must be finding all sorts of wonderful stuff under there...

Oh, where are my manners? Sanvil Trett, wandering merchant, tinker, and dealer in all things technological, at your service! You need any assistance along those lines, I'm your man. It's so very nice to meet you!"

Harskgun is still just as gruff as ever. "Yes...interesting things down there," he harumphs, "toads with light-up eyes, hordes of undead, malfunctioning whooziwutzits..."

"There were some interesting bits of tech down there. An e-pick and a card or two."

"Hm, that's all? That's disappointing. Still, who knows what else is down there? If you find something interesting you want to sell, or just something you can't identify, you come find me, ok? I'm usually at my stall by day, and.. well, here by night." He chuckles. "I trust I'll be seeing you soon!"

Uninterested in gambling, and unimpressed by Mr. Trett's "used cart-salesman" like attitude, Niles says his goodbyes and departs. Time to head back to the inn for a warm cup of tea, and spend some time synthesizing his notes into something more legible.

(...Right then. Moving on...)

The party cashes in their chips and heads back to the inn. A restful night is had by all, and no one wakes up with a headache.

Who's ready for another trip under the hill?

Harskgun wakes up early, lights up a cigar, and heads to the forge for the morning rituals of devotion to Torag. He briefly considers making a few daggers today, but decides that going back into the hill is a much better idea. Once he is sure that the forge is properly hot again, he bangs a few dents out of some pieces of sheet metal lying around the forge, and then heads back into the Foundry Tavern to wait for the rest of the group.

Her morning prayers done and her gun checked and prepared, Manizei is soon ready to go as well.

Before heading back to the ruins. Niles spends some time during the morning acquiring more bolts for his crossbow. While he shops, he asks the locals if they know anything about this "Sanvil Trett" person.

(Mr. Otterbie is indeed making masterwork weapons for you, and they should be ready today. You asked him for a short sword, but if you want you may retcon that to reflect your new skill set.)

"Sanvil Trett? Wandering trader. Deals in technology, he does. Never has anything really fancy, but if you need someplace to buy or sell minor gadgets, he's your man. He wanders all around southern Numeria, but I think Torch here is his favorite stop, because he stays for several months when he's here. Otherwise, he stays on the move, and I can't say as I blame him. Hiding a business like that from the Technic League can't be easy."
