Cernandlon's arrow seems to be slightly resisted but still inflicts heavy damage. Henric's acid is very effective, almost killing the target.

V1 steps up and tries to attack Daveed with a slam, but misses horribly.

Daveed is up.

Daveed responds with two quick slashes to V1, before shifting back and blocking the way out of the jail.

With Daveed's second slash, the clothes on the humanoid fall away and a cloud of semitransparent gas stands before you.

2 moves up and tries to attack Daveed but his armor protects him surprisingly well.

3 moves forward one step and seems to focus on Daveed, snarling something about his Master.

4 moves forward as well and does the same thing to Cernandlon.

6 moves up and also tries to charm Daveed.

Daveed needs to make a 2 Will saves vs (compulsion)[mind-affection]
Cernandlon needs to make a Will save vs (compulsion)[mind-affection]

Malorix and Epicette are up.

Malorix takes a double move toward the action, takes a good look at the men, and curses. "Yeah, great speech Daveed, and I'm sure they'd be happy to reenlist *if* they hadn't all become vampire spawn.

You need the usual; magic silver, garlic, sunlight, running water, wooden stakes. Anybody have those?"

"Is a daylight spell good enough? I can whip a few more of those out if so, or maybe conjure some garlic arrowheads for Cernandlon if not."

Epicette moves up and, using her prehensile hair, tries to Heal Hex the #2 vampire spawn through the bars.

(I'm sure everyone in the party is used to her weird intelligent hair by now =D)

Malorix moves up, Cernandlon and Daveed make their saves, and the touch of Epicette's hair causes #2 to turn into a smoke cloud.

#5 moves up and glares at Epicette, realizing the new threat, who needs to make a Will save vs (compulsion)[mind-affection]

Henric and Cernandlon are up.

Cernandlon mutters something under his breath about 'damnable vampires,' and uses his wand to increase his bow damage.

Henric fires a small glob of acid over Cernandlon's shoulder at #5 (Lesser Orb of Acid).

(Attack: 1d20+8=17 touch, 5d8+8=28 acid)

Cernandlon's spell goes off without issue, and Henric manages to connect with his acid orb, causing severe damage to the vampire spawn.

The smoke from #1 starts moving past the group into the hallway.

Daveed is up.

Daveed readies to slash the first opponent that comes into range.

Number 4 moves to grapple Daveed and it suffers a nasty slash to his arm. It tries to grapple Daveed, but can't seem to get past his shield.

Number 6 tries to control Henric who needs to make a will save vs (compulsion)[mind-affection]

Number 3 also tries to grapple Daveed with a bit more luck, and barely manages to start grappling him.

The cloud that was number 2 moves past Daveed and the group into the hall.

Malorix and Epicette are up.
