Part 3: Into the Citadel

I feel so bad for Scott. Rolling a nat 20 then being assigned 9 init.

You all managed to act before the... well, whoever is attacking you. Feel free to post actions or perception checks and I'll tell you what you see extra.

(Perception check results) Malorix sees... arrow slits. That is all.

Epicette ignites and tosses a smokestick towards the arrow slits that were pouring out fire.

She then suggests quietly, in celestial: "let's back out of sight and give them a false alert. I suggest we go back to the curtain walls and take our time circling around to the northwest. With a little more discretion and stealth this time."

[Mr_Praetorian]

"Both Malorix and I are wearing fullplate. I don't think stealth is an option." Daveed answers (also in Celestial), holding his shield in front of his face to block the incoming fire.

(Full Defense action)

"Even an invisibility sphere won't help with that."

"Henric, would you just fry them already?"

(Perception: 1d20+13 = 16...dammit)

Cernandlon manifests minor metamorphosis to gain a 20' climb speed so he will be able to scale the wall, as well as +2 Enhancement to Dexterity and +1 natural armor.
(Augmenting to 3PP, 4 minute duration)

Seeing no point in the arguing that is going on, Cernandlon starts to scale the wall according to the original plan.

Henric casts Fly on Daveed, figuring that the enemy is too well under cover to blast at this range.

"That works too." Malorix channels energy to heal anyone who was hit by the arrows, and provide overflow bonuses. (+1 sacred bonus to pretty much everything for one minute, 11 hp healed)

(Marty Edit: bonus is +1 sacred bonus on attack rolls, skill checks, ability checks, and saving throws, and is only granted if you were either already at full HP or the channel brings you to full HP)

Epicette's smoke cloud seems to have helped only a little. two arrows land short and another whizzes way over your heads. One tings off of Daveed's shield, while another strikes his shin, slightly denting his armor and dealing 7 damage.

Malorix is unfortunately within sight of the lowest arrow slit and takes one arrow for 6 damage.

Daveed lifts off the ground and flies 40ft up, calling down in Celestial, "Let's move!"

Cernandlon keeps climbing, taking double move actions as necessary.

Malorix kinda flaps his arms. "Ah, mages? Little help here?"

Henric obliges him with a Fly spell before flying up after the others.
