What about the not-so friendly NPCs that we don't entirely want to leave out of our sight? Millorn said he would go and do something while we were at the tower, but I can't remember what it was. If it would have brought him here, Henric goes and seeks him out to see how that went.

Daveed agree with Epi on all counts, and decides instead to go speak with Mr. Gwerm first, to persuade him to join their mission.

Epicette is still not a fan of Millorn for abandoning during crucial moments. She also doesn't believe bringing him would be a good idea -- talking about dire dangers to us is one thing, but in an army? That uncontrolled mouth of his will sap morale. Though she does acknowledge that leaving him behind may erase whatever (little) progress he's made so far... so in the end, she think this is a Daveed decision (since he's the sponsor; unless Henric wants to take that role), based on how hopeful he is towards the dwarf.

As you gather in the town yard that evening, the entire town's survivors gather to catch a glimpse of the queen. She arrays you in front of the town and addresses the crowd.

"Warriors, citizens, survivors, you have survived the greatest attack from the Worldwound that we've seen in decades. We've lost many good men and women. However, without these 5 brave souls, we would have lost a lot more. Many of you are confused and worried about the fate of wardstones and the border. It is true that the demons forced their destruction. If these warriors hadn't acted when they did, the wardstone's holy power would have been corrupted completely and turned against us. I'm sure you all remember the release of power that freed this town, and indeed many more along the border. That pulse was triggered here in Kenabres, and it is my honor to decorate the warriors who saved so many lives that day."

She turns to each of you and pins a circular blue medal that depicts a pair of feminine gray eyes surrounded by a circular silver lightning bolt. You have each earned a A Righteous Medal of Clarity it grants a +2 sacred bonus to saves vs insanity and confusion, and can be activated as a swift action to grant a +2 sacred bonus to Intelligence for 1 minute.

Cernandlon, Daveed, and Henric, get another pin that is shaped like a demonic skull being pierced by 4 red-hilted swords: Righteous Medal of Valor which grants a +2 Sacred bonus to CMD and can be activated as a swift action to grant a +2 sacred bonus to Strength for 1 minute.

Daveed, Henric, Epicette, and Malorix get another pin that depicts a leering demon head before two crossed swords: Righteous Medal of Command which grants a +2 sacred bonus on saves against emotion based effects (including fear effects)and can be activated as a swift action to grant a +2 sacred bonus to Charisma for 1 minute.
