Tessa takes her new armor with a nod of thanks to the group. Whilst equipping it, even she breaks out the cold weather clothes at this point (I did actually pay for these, I just forgot to write them down until recently.) "I was hoping I'd never have to use these again," she mutters as the old fur clothing comes on.

"Right. All set. If no one minds, we should press on."

Continuing on along the obvious path, the snow quickly continues to grow deeper, soon reaching the point where trying to move through it, instead of along the path, would be quite difficult.
The path continues into the forest through a small gully, thicky forested - and heavily snowbound - ridges running alongside it. As the freezing wind picks up, snow cascades from the branches, adding a soft hissing to the muted background sound of the frozen forest.

OOC: Also, can I get a marching order?

(Well, Tartessa's out in front, unless anyone has tracking skills, in which case they should be in front.)

The relative quiet of the path is broken quite suddenly as an otherwise unremarkable patch of snow explodes outwards, a long white creature bursting out of it.
he long, serpentine's creature's draconic head bites into Luna's arms, its coils wrapping around her.

OOC: 7 of Luna's 8 hp gone, plus grappled. I think this sort of creature turning up this early is a bit excessive, but ... module. Anyway, surprise round done, initiative time.

Creature: 11 (also had a ridiculous Stealth check)

Luna lets out a scream as the wurm bites into her, "Blasted overgrown lizard!" she shouts before casting Evil Eye at the beast. "Release me" (One Evil Eye to lower its attack rolls)
