Keravel Ruali (translate Spellsword Dreamshadow) is a fairly young male elven mage. A mere 93, Keravel stands at 5'6" and 115 lb. Keravel has a boyish exuberance about his face that is tempered by a serious and dedicated mindset. He is fascinated by the secrets of arcane magic, and seeks to explore them as much as possible. His icey blue eyes reveal little about his inner thoughts, usually showing sparkling excitement, even in the thick of battle or in the midst of a complicated spell. Keravel's skin is fair with just a light tinge of gray, and his long, loose hair is a light blue tinged with silver. When adventuring he wears practical yet beautiful elven robes of green and brown that contain many pockets for spell components, and a light brown travelling cloak lined with soft blue cloth. A belt woven of fine strands of silver and silk cinches his robes about his waist so as to keep them from getting in his way. A silver oak leaf serves as his buckle. The straps and buttons of all of Keravel's equipment feature similar leaves. Keravel also wears a pair of sturdy brown leather boots that are suitable for hiking across the toughest of terrain. Keravel keeps in his Haversack a special set of clothing. When preparing to do battle with enemies of the elves, Keravel dons this special clothing. Keravel's "combat gear" is a black silk tunic with a soft black leather vest embossed with a crescent moon (not armor), a wide black leather belt with silver crescent moon buckle, black cloth pants, black leather boots, and a black hooded cloak. Finally, there is a pair of soft black leather gauntletsthat reach to his elbows. Keravel's combat gear was made by his father before he left on his adventures to remind him of Corellon's power. On his right middle finger he wears a simple silver band with a prayer to Corellon for good health and wisdom inscribed around it. The ring was a gift from his mother when he left to begin his arcane studies and it grants him slight protection from harm. He always an amulet in the shape of an oak leaf about his neck, a charm that he made himself to harden his skin against attacks. He also wears light brown leather bracers embossed with the symbol of Vandria that he also crafted to protect himself. Keravel's quarterstaff is a simple ironwood staff worn smooth from many years of hiking and combat practice. A special holster attached to his belt holds an eight inch long rod of clear glass covered by spirals of silver (a wand of magic missile). Keravel exudes an aura of relaxation and seriousness all at once, and loves to poke fun at dwarves, but he will always help allies, regardless of race.
