As Daveed (and Malorix should he choose to go as well) swing around the south to allow the others to keep a shot, they make it to a point where they could see the other side of the pile. Skittering on the cave floor, are 3 Giant Cockroaches, 20 ft away, each roughly the size of a dog As they detect your presence, they turn towards you and hiss.

Roll Initiative.

"Is there nothing in these caves but giant insects?" Daveed curses.

Henric advances slowly, staying a good distance behind the front line.

Malorix draws his sword and accompanies Daveed, prepared to crush bogz.

"Well, Daveed, given what just happened up topside, I say roll with it. We'll be missing these things when we start running into glabrezus and the like."

Daveed moves towards the roaches, clanging his sword against his shield to gather their attention, and preparing to strike the first one that comes within range.

(Move to Q8, Read Action to Attack first one that comes within reach.
Atk: 1d20+5= 14; dmg 1d6+3= 7)

Cernandlon moves to get a clear shot at the roaches, and let an arrow fly at one of them.
(Moving to O8, firing at C3)

Epicette moves up (M8) and fires her crossbow bolt at the closest roach (C3)

( Damage: 1d8=7 piercing )

Henric sighs, then advances to M7 and launches a blob of acid at C2.

(Attack: 1d20+3=5 ranged touch, 1d3+2=4 acid damage)

Malorix moves to P8 and readies an attack for the first hostile to come in melee range.

the cockroaches scurry around the room, C1 circling around the top of the refuse and trying to escape out the path you came in. It attacks Henric when it runs into him, but misses horribly (nat 2) due to it's scittering frenzy.

Roach 2 tries to flee past Daveed (readied action triggers, solid hit, still up) and it continues running (Daveed gets an AoO)

Daveed quickly follows up with another slash as the roach skitters by him.

Daveed then quickly advanced next Henric, with somewhat uncanny speed, and plunged his scimitar through the roach's carapace.

Cernandlon draws another arrow and looks for additional targets, knowing better than to fire into a melee.
