Malorix looks out the window at the ruins of the city. "Don't worry, Daveed, we'll get the bastards next time, when we aren't outnumbered three-to-one and out of magic. So, what's the plan? Continue to Anevia's house?" *Glances at Gwerm's clock* "Also, I'll need about three more hours if you don't mind."

"The plan is to bunker down until our magic is restored. Then, we'll proceed to Anevia house in the morning." Daveed says, before heading downstairs to let Gwerm know they're camping out.

[Zanaikin]

Epicette borrows another room (preferably one with no windows, a large closet if needed) to finish up her crafting. Sleep is secondary for her tonight.

Henric seconds Malorix's comment of three more hours and goes to sleep. "Magical energies are like fragile little teenagers - if they don't get their sometimes excessive beauty sleep, they get all grumpy and won't do anything useful."

Cernandlon resumes his shift on watch.

so you guys made it back to Gwerms around 6:30 PM. succeeded in crafting/sleep until 2AM (which should be the requisite 9 hours for each of you)

Daveed emerges from one of the guest rooms, which he had commandeered for himself, Banded Maile donned.

"Thank you, Epi." He said with a nod, returning her chainshirt.

"If there are no further of objections. Let us depart, presently.

Malorix finishes his prayers to Ragthiel, and rises to his feet. "Yes. Let's. Next stop," he nods to Anevia. "Your house."

Daveed has no objections to this.

Fortunately most of the demons and looters have decided to take the night off to get some sleep. You manage to make it within sight of the Tirabade residence without further encounters. Despite Anevia's claim that her wife is well connected, a simple 3 room house stands before you about 60ft down the road. Anevia is clearly getting anxious and struggling to get a good look at the building.

"Not really what you'd expect a great hero's residence to look like. But then, that was the point, wasn't it? Well, let's see if anyone's home, shall we?"

"Houses are expensive. Homes are priceless. Something one of my mentors told me." Daveed answered.

"We'll proceed to within 30ft, then Sir Cernandlon and I will enter to make sure it's safe." Daveed said to the party.

Seeing that the house had all its doors closed and furthermore, windows shuttered, Epicette feels ill at ease:
"Okay, something is wrong with this place. Kenabres fell to a sudden attack, and Anevia is with us. Her wife, given her relationship with the guard, should have joined in the defense. So who had time to latch the house down? Either this is safehouse for remaining defenders... or it's become a cultist motel. We should search for traps and wards as we go along, and I suggest we stay within a room's range of each other."
