Character Creation

Character Generation:
Rules: Pathfinder
Sources: Core, Core Expansions, 3rd Party on case by case basis, Spell Compendium, Magic Item Compendium, Anything else on case by case basis
Race Limitation: Only races presented in the Core rules may be used. No templates.
Starting Level: 7
XP Scale: Medium
Stat Generation: Preset Array (17, 15, 14, 13, 12, 10)
HP Generation: Maximum to start, then roll for every level after
Starting Gear: 23000, plus items dependent on affiliation
Variant Rules: Domains, Hero Points (3), Hero Feats, Saving Throw Feats, Traits (2), Open Content Customization, Beta
Domains: Due to the nature of the Divine, a divine caster of any given deity may select any domains that fit with their interpretation of that God. For example, while the general consensus may be that Exarcha is tied to the Nobility, Law, and Protection domains, a cleric might instead opt for the Community and Law domains. The only exemption to this rule is taking Alignment domains that do not correspond to the given deity’s own alignment (except in the case of Racial Gods, who have no set alignment).
Hero Points: Each character begins the game with 3 Hero Points. A character may have a maximum of three Hero Points (or 5, if they have taken the Hero’s Fortune feat) at any given time, +1 per Hero Feat taken.
Hero Feats: The following feats gain the descriptor [Heroic]: Blood of Heroes, Heroic Defiance, Hero’s Fortune, Heroic Recovery, Luck of Heroes
Saving Throw Feats: The “Greater” versions of all the Core feats that increase saving-throws are now obsolete, and the bonus provided by Great Fortitude, Iron Will, and Lightning Reflexes now increases to +4 at HD 10.
Open Content Customization: Perhaps out of insanity, I'm going to allow not only use of multiple archetypes, but also the ability to trade around class abilities between classes (See Dai's Fighter-Samurai options). Naturally everything has to be run by me, particularly in the latter case, and I reserve the right to Rule 0 SMASH! any build that is a mess of different archetypes with no coherent theme (or too many). Tread carefully if you're going down this path of optimization.
Beta: Even though I'm more than ready to get the game rolling, the campaign setting is still in beta. Hence, its likely that I might add a feat, spell, or character option that wasn't available to you at character creation. Chances are I'll let you switch it in on the spot, just not in the middle of combat.
