Description: This ring functions as a normal Communication Ring [MIC]. However, it may also send messages over longer distances by attuning to an existing network. Attunement requires continuous contact with another ring already in the network for 1 minute; if neither rings are in a network, the two forms a new network. Once attuned, the ring may be activated as a Standard Action to send a short message, as per the Sending spell, to any other creature wearing a ring within the same network; this function is useable 1/day, or up to three additional times by expending a level four spell slot or prepared spell. Attempting to send a message to a creature not wearing an attuned ring automatically fails with notification and does not expend any uses/day.
