Yeah, speaking of not for the faint of heart, it's amazing what you can do with epic spells nowadays.

Dave, thinking back, O'Chul was in the throne room, paralyzed, when Xykon and Redcloak had their final confrontation with the ghost paladins, and probably Soon mentioned that Redcloak was wearing the phylactery then.

Eh, I'd expect a paladin to have enough Knowledge (Religion) to know that clerics need a divine focus (Holy Symbol) to cast most of their spells, and to be able to recognize Redcloak's holy symbol.

I think that phylactery IS his holy symbol, at least I think Redcloak uses it when turning undead, henceforth exemplifying the connection between those two.

Good to know that Xykon overloaded his phylactery will protective abjurations. I do feel bad for Mr. Stiffy, though.

Well, he was expecting Xykon to kill him. "Almost certainly," I believe he said. Now, the Creature in the Darkness has an interesting choice put before him...
