We're not using spell points, and if I even so much as here someone whisper spellfire... so help you God.
Warforged Bodies: Instead of requiring a feat to change the armor type of a warforged's body, you may now select any warforged body type without burning a feat slot. Henceforth, composite plating will be treated as medium armor that grants a +6 armor bonus, has a check penalty of -4, and possesses a max dexterity modifier of +2.
Also, the Psiforged body feat is now in the same category as the cold iron/silver tracery feats. You may now take it after character creation.
Pisforged Body will henceforth be refered to as Deep Crystal Enhancement.
Story Based Variants:
Castes: Each Warforged sent to work in the Poin'defex Underground Facility is seperated into a caste depending on skills. If your characte is not a new arrival to the facility, it takes -4 on saves against mind-effecting spells and spell-like abilties, and on level checks to resist intimidation, but also receives one of the following abillities based on his/her caste.
Redbacks Caste
Prerequisites: CON 14.
Benefits: Days spent in extremely hot environs have granted these warforged Fire restistance 20, and a +2 bonus to CON.
Metalmaws
Prerequisites: Infuser/Caster level 3rd or higher, at least 6 ranks in any of the Craft the skills that allow warforged maintainance (ECS)/
Benefits: These warforged are charged with repairs: They recieve a modification of the Augment Healing feat, called Augment Reapir, and can repair warforged at twice the normal rate (they would accomplish what one could normally do in 8 hours, in 4 hours).
Additionally, they recieve a bonus metamagic feat or item creation feat.
Tunnelers
Prerequisites: Dex 14, and at least 6 ranks in any two dexterity based skills.
Benefits: These warorged are the 'forged who are sent into tight spaces to fix problems. They recieve a +2 bonus to Dexterity, the Dodge feat as a bonus feat (or Mobility, if they already possess Dodge), and disable device, sleight of hand, and escape artist are always considered class skills for them.
Pages
Prerequisites: 14 INT, ranks in atleast two Knowledge skills.
Benefits: The few warforged with above average intellect are regulated to keeping track of numbers and other data, though they are never told what data they are actually organizing. Nonetheless, the constant sorting and calculations have sharpened their minds. They recieve a +2 bonus to INT, a bonus Skill Focus feat, and either a bonus metamagic or reserve feat.
Brutes
Prerequisites: 14 STR
Benefits: Obviously named for the heavy lifting that their job implies. Over the years, the artificers have made improvements to increase their raw strength. Brutes receive a +2 strength bonus and the Powerful Build abiltiy.
Scraps
Prequisites: None
Benefits: Those who truly have no practical use, but remain in the facility to perform oddjobs fall into this category. Their lack of abuse reduces the penalties for the other castes to -2, but this perceived lack of work by by the other castes causes them to take a -2 penatly on all interaction-based skills with members of other castes. The time spent with no task to perform has allowed the Scraps to improve on their own abilties.
