Hey everybody, I'm working on a project and I need people to fill out a survey.
Just post your results here.

Survey is at: http://sajuuk.net/uploads/survey.doc OR http://sajuuk.net/uploads/survey.odt

Detailed responses are encouraged for you guys, under the condition said responses are released to me to use as quotations in my paper (you will be given proper credit).

Do you use any of the following social networking and/or blogging websites?
A: Facebook (and even then rarely, I'm pretty much dead on there), Wordpress

If you do use them, how much time (on average) do you spend on them each day?
A: 1-2hrs

Do you have images of yourself doing activities that you probably would not want potential employers to see?
A: No, actually there will be some images that I DO want them to see.

Are you aware (or were you aware before reading this survey) that some employers search for you on social networking sites as part of looking into if you are worth hiring?
A: Yes

Are you a regular user of a search engines (google, yahoo, msn, etc)?
A: Yes

Do you know about the government demanding that search engines turn over the logs of what IP addresses are searching for what things?
A: No, but it sure doesn't surprise me

Do you think that the government has a right to demand the search logs?
A: Yes

Do you understand the issue of net neutrality?
A: Yes

Do you think that internet providers have a right to impede the loading of certain websites?
A: Yes (but depends on for what purpose). They should impede certain websites for the purpose of resource sharing, just like the OS has a right and responsibility to impede certain system-intensive operations in order to guarantee 'fair share' for processes. I'd love for ISPs to impede Youtube loading a bit, because it literally kills the bandwidth of each subnet.

Do you think that internet providers have a right (or responsibility) to impede peer to peer network traffic, regardless of it being illegal or not?
A: Yes, same reason above - guarantee 'fair share' of network bandwidth.

Do you think it is right for inadequately informed government officials to be making laws about net neutrality and the internet in general?
A: No, but officials are rarely 'adequately informed'.

Do you think it is right for telecommunication companies to be lobbying government officials to rule on net neutrality in their best interests?
A: No, that's just corporatism + government corruption, but it happens anyways.

How much of the internet do you think is porn (percentage wise)?
A: 30%

and yes, I do give you permission to use any response of mine.
