Dave:
You've probably long forgotten, but your character IS a noble by inheritance; it's taken me a while to get around to figuring out what I should give though.
Sigmund's title is "Count of Zephyr". This territory is on Astraea, and is currently uninhabited like many other domains on the planet (nobles usually invest, build, and expand settlements themselves). It's a temperate coastal region on the western shores of the same continent (except opposite side) that the main settlement is on. It's got a temperate weather about average for the planet, covered by large forests with the western mountain ranges spanning across it right against the coastline.
If your character might in interested in doing something with it and getting an extra source of income, inform me =9
Also, finish your cohort sometime soon please.

The first two things that come to mind are skiing and hiking/camping, if it looks like either will work. Any known natural resources? I doubt that timber is much of a resource in the Imperium...I'm considering having a town start up someplace, but that would need some reason to get people to show up.

Wood is always a resource, if not simply because people still prefer to use wooden products for furniture (I'm not completely sure why).
Almost all of Astraea is too temperate for Skiing, yours go under this. Most people also don't go in the wildlands due to the dangers involved (see planet description), but if you manage to secure a region and establish a reputation for its security reliance... there's probably plenty who'd be interested.
They haven't surveyed this region, so don't know about natural resources (most mineral-mining is done in space these days anyways).

I guess the first thing to do is send in some people to try and clear out an area to explore properly.

While flipping through last night, I realized a number of clerical errors in my character sheets. They'll be corrected shortly.
Also, thought I'd throw out the idea of the using my cohort to test out the wealth system. Just a thought.

Judson, mark a post on your char thread to track your METAAC information (you need to post because you need to be able to edit & maintain this post, like on upgrades n whatever). I'll delete the old one once you do and will make edits to the new one when necessary.
