Oh, and if i drop Vitality Belt (and 27 HP, +4 to CON checks and CON based skill checks) I can get Truthseeker goggles and likewise cover Gather Information, Search, & Sense Motive. But mostly search because my CHA and WIS suck

I have some ranks in Gather Info, and a decent charisma. Unfortunately its a cross-class skill for me.

also, I just realized... there's no purpose for you to take Cerulean Reflexes since all you have to do is dump more essentia into Impulse boots, which aren't full and probably won't be for a while (by the time you have the +2 essentia to fill that, the limit to all your other soulmelds increase, not to mention more soulmelds to invest in).

so what do you recommend i take instead of Cerulean Reflexes? Maybe Lightning Reflexes just for the flat +2 bonus. And i probably WILL end up with surplus essentia at higher levels, becuase i'm going to take bonus essentia at least one more time.

How about power attack? Given that you've attack bonus is high enough. You could probably stand to loose some of it for damage. Then again, Skill Focus (Profession: Sailor) wouldn' hurt either.

I wish people would stop suggesting power attack. If i actually got iterative attacks to make more effective use of feats that require it (like Cleave, because seriously, the likelihood of me dropping an enemy is nowhere near as high) I would take it. Skill Focus for Prof (Sailor) does sound good. And Drew did advise I pump that check as high as I could...

Power Attack actually doesn't mix well with iterative attacks, since they have lower and lower starting attack bonuses. That's why most PA-heavy builds either use touch attacks or do it while charging/on maneuvers, since they only get one attack anyway.

Two custom items for DM approval:

Rod of Lesser Metamagic, Rapid (3,000gp): Functions exactly as any other metamagic rod. This is the standard price for +1 level metamagic adjustments (see rods of silent, enlarge, and extend in SRD), but unfortunately this particular feat does not have a rod for it published. Rapid Spell is CDiv p84

Pendant of Glibness, Lesser (2,500gp): +5 competence bonus to bluff checks.
