(Ok, that's been more than a week. Hm.)
The party gets their water breathing, and is pointed toward Weeping Pond, a toxic, chemical-reeking body of water that houses the only known entrance into the Black Hill caves.
Everyone please give me Swim checks and Fortitude saves.

(Swim: 1d20-4 = 7. Hahahahaha...swimming Dwarf...Granted its the armor and encumbrance that makes it that low.)
(Fortitude: 1d20+4 = 10. 12 vs Poison or Spell or Spell-like ability. I am not having a good 24 hours in regards to keeping characters alive...)

Niles appears to have little trouble with the task.
(Swim: 1d20+1= 14
Fortitude: 1d20+3= 16)

Enalai doesn't mind a good swim, but the toxic smell of the water brings back unpleasant memories. Plug your nose and make it through.
(Swim: 1d20+3= 20
Fortitude: 1d20+2= 18)

(Probably should have asked for this earlier, but Harskgun and Manizei, give me additional Fort saves to account for the extra time underwater.)

(Well, our remaining party member has informed me that she's decided to withdraw. So, moving on...)
Shadar suddenly breaks her leg and has to stay behind. Her potion of Remove Disease magically turns up in Harskgun's possessions.
The party surfaces from the water. Harskgun and Manizei take a bit longer than the rest, but all make it and none are sickened by the toxic runoff they just swam through.
