Fires of Creation, Part III

"So," Enlali says, "into the desert we go?"

[Berryshine]

"Carefully, but yes." Straightening up, with the alien tools tucked away amongst her possessions, Manizei reloads her musket. "And is anyone hurt?"

[Sajuuk]

Harskgun has suffered only a minor flesh wound (1 point of damage), so he does not speak up for healing.

"Hmmm...desert," he wonders aloud, "last thing I'd expect to find down here."

[Mr_Praetorian]

"I'm fine, just a scratch. Let's press on."

[polahburr]

"Fit as a fiddle," Enlali says grinning. "Onward through the strangest desert?"

[littleangryman]

The party proceeds onward through the desert, following the tracks of the previous expeditions.

SUDDENLY!

A pile of sand off the the party's right shifts and shudders, and a more-or-less human-sized skeleton rises out of it, representing no species known to Golarion and with four arms clawing their way out of the sand. The thing's empty eye sockets briefly flare with a spooky pale green light before returning to normal. Roll initiative!

(No rush, as I and half our players are leaving for GenCon. Should be back by Sunday night, maybe Monday.)

Enlali grins and readies her bardiche once again.

For a moment, Manizei is about to call out to the creature, before its undead nature becomes obvious. With a sigh, she levels her musket again.

(Right... well... I rolled a 1, so everyone goes before the thing. Go!)

Spotting the others begin to move in towards the creature, Manizei snaps off a shot while she still has clear shot at the thing.
((Attack: 1d20+6=15. Damage= 1d12 = 7))

Enlali also moves towards the spoopy skellington.

(Assuming the same thing: father away than my move speed unless otherwise noted. )

Manizei's gun blasts the skeleton to bits. That's the good news. The bad news is two more appear to take his place. (This is before anyone moves, I'll say, so feel free to move somewhere else.)
