Backing away, Manizei makes sure that she's safely away from the mold, although she does try to keep herself between Enali and the danger, just in case.

Emma moves resolutely, positioning herself at the farthest distance she can confidently hit her target (about 25 "feet") and starts blasting weak rays of Friday at all the mold in site, starting with the nearest. She does 13 spells at a time.

Under the barrage of Emma's cold magic, the brown mold anticlimactically withers and dies, with no explosion to be seen. 600 XP.

Gerrol's body can now be retrieved safely, but there's still the matter of his russet mold infestation, which will probably start to develop again now that it's out of the freezer.

The tunnel leading east can now be accessed.

"Well done, Emma." Niles says, patting her, somewhat awkwardly, on the head.

"So, who wants to carry him?"

Harskgun goes forward and picks up Gerrol's body, careful not to disturb any of the mold on it. "Perhaps we should head back with him now?" he suggests, not thrilled with the concept of lugging around a dead person for an extended period of time.

Somberly, Manizei nods.
"It would probably be for the best," she notes, before frowning as another thought strikes her. "May I borrow that armour we found? II'd rather like to keep my musket as dry as possible, and it should fit in there while we go in and out of here."

"We can always come back later," Enalali said in agreement. "Though, frankly I'm not thrilled about swimming around without being able to see."

[Sajuuk]

Harskgun hands over the diving suit to Manizei. "We'll come back down once we handle the matter of Gerrol, and when Enlali can see again."

(I hasten to point out that unlike the rest of you, Emma is not under the effects of a water breathing spell. Also, by the time you get back to where you left Parda's body and down to the entry cavern, enough of Enlali's sight will have returned to get back to town safely.)

Emma turns sharply. "My spell expired days ago. Might I be able to wear the suit? Also im pretty sure you'll be able to see again by the time we are ready to leave."

With a nod, Manizei hands the suit over, then begins ensuring that her musket is unloaded and as clear of powder as possible.
