Ill probably play as a Daelkyr Half Blood of some sorts. Throwing around a few ideas.

First level? Hmm, I have say that I'm not too keen about low level games.

Will has agreed to start at 3rd level and one flaw, with sufficient explaining backstory. and Drew: yeah, i don't like low level either, but he says we'll level up fairly quick.

Hmm. This intrigues me. And I'll have an EPH by then, so this might be my opportunity to test out these 'psionics' I hear so much about...

Be warned, Will doesn't generally allow psionics, at least in my experience.

Oh well, not like I actually had something rolled up for it. Just a thought.

Sorry I haven't been on lately, but APs are done now. I just got back from the Carlisle Kit Car/Import show. It was amazing. I parked next to an Aston Martin. The medics were able to revive me. As for the game, I prefer no psionics unless multiple people can certify that they aren't broken. I absolutely hate broken psionics. But they do fit in Eberron, so I'd consider allowing one into the party, providing it's appropriately balanced with the rest of the party (balance is relative after all).

actually Will, considering you host low-lvl games you don't need to worry about psionics being 'broken', as they are psionics are weaker than even wizards at low lvl (their power points run out faster than spell slots).

Psionics dont get broken until around level 10, unless you are able to acquire an ungodly amount of PP for use in augmenting.

Seriously, though, psionics really are balanced at the worst, except for a few broken combos that are generally fairly easy to spot as a DM after a fight or two. Basically, be warned if he uses Psychic Chirurgery, Energy Missile, Claws of the Beast, maybe a couple others, but those are the really bad ones. Marty's the real psionics expert, and he'll be right there (in theory) to catch stuff like that.

I don't think you need to worry all that much. I know NOTHING about psionics at the moment. I was just saying that the idea intrigued me, and I was hoping that I'd have an EPH by then. Now that I've got that damned parking ticket, that's currently out the window.
