Part 3: Into the Citadel

The party manages to retreat into the northern arcade.The two dead tieflings still lie on the floor, as well as the 2 nearby dead minotaurs. Feel free to make perception checks. (we're staying in Rounds time frame for the moment, but not everyone has to act, nor is Initiative Order important.)

"Agreed. Last thing we need down there is someone we missed up here stabbing us in the ass."

EDIT: "It sounds as though the enemies are moving away from us, not closer," Epicette puzzled. "Maybe they're falling back to their leadership?"

"Then we could always follow them to said leadership and decapitate the command structure..." Cernandlon mused aloud.

Another round passed with no new enemies showing. Anyone want to do anything?

"If no one is coming for us, perhaps we should consider investigating that chanting." Daveed mused, quietly.

"Agreed, chanting can't be good."

"Sounds like a reasonable option to me."

Epicette sends Reverie out to keep tabs on the next room (marked location of flying), on orders to return immediately if there are foes incoming.

"Maybe we shouldn't just wait here for them to get ready?"

( if Reverie doesn't immediately turn back upon coming into sight of the big room ahead (at AS18), then Epicette moves down south (to AT17) where she can peak around the wall for a better look. )

Reverie doesn't see anyone coming and the commotion to the south has pretty much quieted completely. Another round has ended. You are all up again.

"Alight, let's at least check out the planning room to the west. We might be able to gather some intelligence."

Epicette moves to behind a pillar and tells Reverie to fly to the open doorway's edge, take a peek, and them come back (owl has enough movement to).

Reverie returns and says the room to the south is empty, but could hear footsteps that sounded like they were further south. Like the dining area they were in before, and on the opposite side. The doors to the main entrance are closed.
