Part 3: Into the Citadel

fair warning: you guys are all(sans Cernandlon) flying 40ft up to open air and ending turn if i'm interpreting your posts correctly. I'm happy to let you do that but it doesn't quite seem like what some of you (especially squishy chars) actually want.

EDIT: Malorix double moves and joins Epicette on the balcony.

Epicette flies up over to the wall also up enough to see over it onto the balcony.
If there's nobody there, she flies up again to take cover at BY26.

Henric's spell goes off without a hitch and he makes it close to the wall, and is still 30ft below the balcony.
Cernandlon's mad dash to the base of the building ends with him 5ft off the ground, spiderman-ing his way up the citadel's stone wall.
Daveed's call to action is finally answered and he stands in the air striking an inspiring pose with his shield between him and the enemy.
Epicette makes it up onto the balcony and finds that the wall to the south of where the door should be has collapsed and there is a rubble pit leading down into the room that you assume the enemies are firing from.
Malorix makes it up onto the balcony, following behind Epicette and sees the same thing.

(sorry I've another forgotten detail, the balcony wall is basically standard battlements, so 2.5 to 5ft high, providing partial cover unless you take cover behind it)

With Daveed being the only truely viable target, whatever enemy is behind the eastern wall unleash a hail of arrows. In a truely stunning display of agility and calmness under fire, Daveed blocks 5 arrows with his shield, the force of which momentarily weaken his arm, causing the sixth arrow to strike dead center. As the cheap wooden arrowshaft crumples against his Fullplate, he feels nothing from the impact. Radiance twitches in his hand and Daveed trusts it, letting it guide his hand as he chops the seventh and final arrow in half before it can reach him.

Epicette has 30ft of leftover movement due to new information.

Cernandlon double moves to scale the wall completely.

Seeing his allies are mostly in the clear, Daveed makes a b-line for safety.

(Daveed doubles moves towards safety).

Epicette moves behind cover and readies a Sleep Hex if any of those archers below try to come up the pit, now that both Daveed and Henric are about to clear the shooting range.

Malorix moves up near Epicette with the intent of going downstairs next round and giving those archers a nasty surprise.

Malorix can make a Perception check and list Languages Known.

Cernandlon moves to regroup with the rest of the party now that he's finished scaling the wall.

Daveed touches down and moves towards the doors into the citadel.

"They know we're here; let's not keep them waiting."

Immediately afterwards (aka this turn), she mutters to Malorix "they're leaving to go warn their commander" before flying down the pit...
