Part 1: The Crusader's March

You notice that all 3 vials are giving off false auras. 2 have minor Good auras and one has a minor Abjuration, but are in fact all moderate Evil auras. and they look like the vial Daveed found.

Epicette swipes the scrolls, the wand, and all 3 vials, and makes her way towards Daveed's tent.

Once she enters the tent and has Daveed's attention, she nods at him assuredly and casts a glance at Nurah.

"Ah Epi, excellent." Daveed says, rising to his feet, and drawing Radiance.

"Now that you're here. Nurah can explain to us all why she's been smuggling Shadowblood into Aron Kir's pack." He states, sternly, while leveling his blade towards the halfling.

"What are you talking about? I've done no such thing! I have done nothing but rally the men during this march." She says with conviction.

"It was YOU!?!" Aron shouts with a little confusion and a lot of disbelief as he stands and draws his shortsword.

"What is the meaning of this? Those are some strong accusations." Gwerm says

"Everyone calm down. I'm sure Daveed has some proof to what he claims." Irabeth says, with a look towards Daveed

The second you pull out the vial nurah casts a spell and dissappears

[Standard Action] Epicette casts See Invisibility (still haven't overwritten my prepared spells from yesterday) on herself.

(Move action to step outside if she got that far)

[Swift Action] Followed by Wild Arcana: Strangling Hair, as her long hair quickly gains a life of its own and whips about to twirl itself around the bard...

Grapple: 18+13+2 = 33 [CMD 30 to break free], strangles for 1d6=1 damage

"Surrender and show yourself or we'll eliminate you out right here."

Daveed storms out of the tent as well, somewhat frustrated by her disappearance.

When Epi manages to catch Nurah with her hair, he walks over, and after approximating her location, demands, "Drop the spell! Now!"

(Intimidate: 1d20+4+20(Display of Charisma))= 41)

Malorix happens to wander out of his tent for some fresh air, with nothing in particular on his mind, when he spots Epi dash out of Daveed's tent and cast strangling hair. This leads Malorix to the conclusion that some manner of spy or assassin must be present, and he hustles over to lend assistance. (According to Eric, I'm two rounds of running away. So, yeah.)

(Initiative 12+2=14)

While Epicette is not fast enough to dispel Nurah, she is quick enough to activate vision and grab the halfling, who struggles futily against the hair. Daveed marches up, and Epi can see the color drain from her wispy face. She struggles a little to get enough air in her lungs to utter the words to dismiss her invisibility. She continues to struggle against the hair cutting off her air supply. The rest of the room have lept to their feet. Gwerm has stepped back, Irabeth has drawn her sword but is not pointing it at anyone. Aron has his sword pointed at Nurah's heart.

Keeping a firm eye on Nurah while still having the animated hair tied around her (but no longer squeezing), Epicette starts to explain:

"Yesterday me and Daveed found a vial of shadowblood -- an extremely addictive substance created with the help of demons. It was stowed so obviously that it was meant to be found, so we knew there was an infiltrator among us. This morning I used a Locate Object spell to scan the entire camp for similar vials, and when that failed, I scanned for a lead box that was the simplest way to defend against it. I ended up finding it in Nurah's tent. Inside were three vials (she pulls out the other two for a brief second and waves it around) with aura illusions over them -- very carefully hidden this time."

She'll keep a grip on Nurah until the spell expires (7rounds). Then keep another readied in case Nurah tries anything funny.

"Easy, Aron. Get some rope, so that Epi doesn't have risk having her hair cut apart." Daveed said, lowering his own blade.

Then, turning to Nurah, "We're going to bind you, and take you back inside my tent. Then, you will tell us everything. Nod if you understand."

Henric heads out for food and spots Malorix running over and follows him.

She nods and Gwerm hands Irabeth a length of rope. Irabeth binds Nurah and Epicette is able to release her spell. Hurah spends a few moments gasping for breath after being released and then looks at the room. "I was just trying to help him join the winning side. Some of your 'noble warriors' can still be saved, and Aron was one of them. He's not the only one of my disciples among your ranks either. I've made this trek before. I know how it ends. However, this time, there will be more mortals on the side that wins. I've seen to that."

Aron's sword arm starts quivering as he lowers his sword and fear sets into his face.

Irabeth's face is a stony silence, betraying nothing.

Gwerm gets a "what have I done in funding this mistake" expression at the news but manages to keep quiet.

I need sense motives from Daveed and Epicette

Malorix and Henric are about 1 round out

Epicette's face looked very stoned by that, but for a whole different reason:

"Nice try. But if you really meant that... you wouldn't be telling us it. Now, are you done trying to provoke crazed witch hunts like the damned Inquisitor of Kenabres, or do I have to sink a dagger into you every time you blab off another lie?"

She sounded very serious about it to. In fact, her eyes were positively livid.
