Field of Ruin is from Traps and Treachery 2. It doesnt look like anything: a stone inscribed with certain magic runes at each corner of the area projects the effect over an square a mile on a side.
Any food that enters the area of the trap is imediately and completely spoiled, I believe turning into inedible slime.

Chaotic over here, can't help you much with my own position in jeopardy. Keep Kilar safe, hidden, especially from church, don't know how they would respond to his presence. He may know enough to be a target to multiple factions, and not just Norinth trying to silence him.

SUBJECT: Recovery of Ex-Spymaster Kilar
MESSAGE FOLLOWS:
Kilar tracked down inside city of Trelling after he left us message that aided us. Message seemed to be written as though he was fighting for control of his body. Battle ensued and he was subdued. After interrogation, it was determined that he was under possession of outside force. Possessing force seemed to be Norinthian in nature. Probable use of spirits of dead to control bodies. Possessed Kilar mentioned that Imperium is currently in possession of Erylon and that fortress was built around it. Also mentioned that 'best of Arindale' works for Imperium currently. Possessing force was driven out through use of high-level divine magic, which left Kilar in poor shape. Additional divine magic was needed to reverse the damage done by the force, and he is currently in recovery. Escort Marshal Gant out.
