All of the clocks in the universe, including the characters' internal clocks mysterious shift forward an hour because the Mysterious Controlling Force behind the world has learned that you guys are a month earlier than you should be. Oddly, nobody notices this strange turn of events.

Weatherman's van easily holds everyone (again), and he spends the next block of time shuttling everyone around the Seattle area. Bellvue to drop off Netizen, Downtown to drop off Hecate, <somewhere> to drop off Harvard, Everett to let Doc Shadow out, before heading home to Renton.

Time passes...specifically one day's worth. ()

The bouncer gives the group a hard stare, the kind that suggests they should leave before someone else decides to challenge them to a fight on the premises.

Doc looks over at Netizen, "All right, I think it's time we leave this place," the ogre finishing his drink and nodding in agreement.

Doc doesn't like having a ganger in his face, so he backs out of his chair and hurls another stunbolt, this one at the guy who punched him.
(Casting Stunbolt, Force 5)
(Spellcasting + Magic [Force] = 5 + 5 [5] -> 10d6 (Limit 5): 6,2,5,1,5,6,3,6,2,4 (5+1 hits))
The blast hits the BMB2 and stuns him a bit, but he's still quite active.
(Resist Drain DV 2: Willpower + Logic = 6 + 6 -> 12d6: 5,5,3,4,1,5,3,1,4,4,5,3 (4 hits, drain fully resisted))

(Drew, you're up)

The Blood Mountain Boy closest to the drone notices the easily-heard whirring of the rotodrone over the growing chaos in the bar, and he shouts "Boss, they've got fire support!" as he begins to panic slightly as well.

The Blood Mountain Boy to the north, on the other hand, somehow doesn't notice the drone, and moves to eliminate Doc Shadow, who he manages to make contact with, but the blow is stopped by Doc's armored jacket. (1 net hit) (DV 5, Resist with 12 Armor (no Armor spell or extra gear in place, Doc wasn't expecting combat). 12d6: 1, 5, 6, 4, 4, 3, 6, 5, 2, 6, 4, 2. 5+1 = 6 hits, resists all damage.)

The bouncer easily notices the whirring rotodrone, but he doesn't quite fully put one and one together and associate the drone with Weatherman. Turning toward the drone, he holds his shotgun up to it and shouts, "All right, I don't care who's this is! It's not allowed in here!"

(And that brings us to the next initiative pass! Folks who get to act in this act in this order: Hecate, Doc Shadow, Harvard, BMB LT, Netizen. So Will, you're up first.)

Doc Shadow decides to stick with his hippocratic oath in this situation and 'do no harm,' or in this case 'do no physical harm.' Calling up some flashy mojo, he hurls a bolt of subduing power at the Lieutenant.
(Casting Stunbolt, Force 5)
(Spellcasting + Magic [Force] = 5 + 5 [5] -> 10d6 (Limit 5): 5,4,6,2,5,4,3,3,1,1 (3 hits))
The blast hits the Lieutenant and clearly scrambles him somewhat, but he remains standing and conscious, if only just barely.
(Resist Drain DV 2: Willpower + Logic = 6 + 6 -> 12d6: 5,6,4,4,6,6,1,5,1,2,5,1 (6 hits, drain fully resisted))

The Lieutenant, now looking pretty woozy, takes a step back from Hecate and shouts "That's it, get 'em chummers!"

Netizen doesn't have much he can do in this situation, so he leans back against his chair and tries to stay out of the fight.

One of the gangers runs up and takes a swing at Hecate, making contact with her but not getting through her armored jacket or her orthoskin.
(AGI+Unarmed = 3 hits, Hecate's REA+INT (6+3[7] -> 9d6: 3 hits. Hecate resists damage with Armor of 15 (going to assume you don't have your Securetech PPP stuff equpped), 6 hits so damage is completely resisted.)
(Let me know if you're going to use any interrupt actions, your Initiative score is at a 7 right now so you can use any of the -5 ones)

(This brings us to Weatherman.)

"Looks like you've been doing business on our turf!" a member of the Blood Mountain Boys says as he approaches the table. The ganger is easily recognizable due to the brown and red leather clothing and tribal tattoos, "Pay up or we'll make you pay up!" 3 additional gang members begin to move towards the table as wary eyes begin to drift towards the conflict. None of the gang members appear to be armed with anything substantial, maybe just a knife.

Meanwhile, outside, Harvard, who just finished retrieving his equipment from the bouncer, is accosted by two sickly-looking members of the 162s, easily recognizable by the blood red and brown outfits and the fact that they are ghouls. "Pay up or we'll sell you to Tanamous!" one of them insists.

Then, as he’s getting up to leave, he tosses one of the team members back the other commlink, with a quizzical look. “You may want to hold onto that. It might be worth something to somebody. Not me, but somebody. Worst comes to worst,” he adds, grinning, “it’s a nice commlink.” Then he makes his exit, leaving the group in the noisy bar.

"Do we want to sneak in or go in casually?" Doctor Shadow inquires as he digs through his medkit, making sure all his supplies were in order. The job seemed easy enough, but there was nothing wrong with making sure had had the right tools on-hand to treat any possible injuries. "I can call up an air spirit to help us sneak in if we wanted to go with stealth."

Weatherman's FlySpy drones arrive at their destination and give him an aerial view of the locale. The Novelty Hills Sleep and Eat is far from the standard of hotels seen outside the Barrens. Here, in the wasteland of Redmond, a hotel could be as simple as a refurbished warehouse. It certainly doesn't look like a hotel, but the GPS on the drones confirm that this is indeed their location.

Having avoided the need for a confrontation with the bouncer, the group enters the bar and scans the place for Mr. Johnson, hoping they could find him before someone puts him—or them—in a body bag.
All in all, it’s just a typical night in the Redmond Barrens, with nearly everyone in Banshee clearly being scum looking for a tussle: street survivors, muscle, enforcers, wannabe runners, and plenty of gangers. Both the Blood Mountain Boys and the 162s are there in numbers, not currently at war with each other, but keeping well to their own corners.
Mr. Johnson recognizes the group first, presumably he had been given a description by Imaginary Annie when the group agreed to the meetup. He is a thin, somewhat greasy looking male Korean human, with a pencil-thin mustache and a comb over. He’s wearing a lined coat in a dull crimson color over a black business-casual dress shirt and white tie, and has a gleaming datajack on his temple, but no other obvious augmentations or weapons. Introducing himself as Mr. Johnson when they sit, like almost everyone hiring runners, he suggests (sarcastically) that having sampled enough of the place’s delectable ambiance, they get down to business, leans forward and lowers his voice.

“This is a very simple piece of work that I’m sure is well within your capabilities. The only catch is that it has to be done in a very short timeframe. I need an item retrieved from a nearby business and brought back here. Security should be minimal, with no need for overt violence, although I’ll be honest,” he smiles less than charmingly, “I really don’t care at all what you do to get it. The pay is 5,000 nuyen for your group to split up as you see fit. If you agree, I’ll tell you where you’re going and what you’re looking for.”

Normally, 5K nuyen would be a pittance to pay an entire group, but for a single night's work against a target with supposedly minimal security and no need for violence, you know you seldom get a job this easy and simple. Good pay for little work, and it gets you clean with the lawyer.

(Any negotiation attempts before you accept the job and find out what you'll be doing?)

Arriving at Banshee, you can tell that even by shadowrunner standards, Banshee is not a nice place. If it wasn't evident enough from the rundown facade of the building (consisting of crumbling twentieth-century wood and brick) and the blinking red neon sign slowly dying away to the last phosphor, the state of things would be made clear by the guy who comes crashing out the batwing doors as you're attempting to wander in. Not running, but thrown, he crashes to the ground and rolls. He’s a brown-haired Anglo norm in a synthleather jacket, with snot and puke crusting his chin, whiskey staining his shirt collar, and a hell of a shiner.
“And this time remember to stay out,” shouts the pissed-off ork bouncer, dusting off his hands (one of which is cybernetic). Then his yellow-eyed gaze turns to you. He points to a peeling paper sign on the brick wall just inside the door that reads NO WEAPONS in jagged capitals (the Defiance T-250 leaning on the wall below it is apparently an exception), and then extends a metal mesh basket where you can deposit yours. From inside you can hear the wailing of orxploitation-influenced nu-metal from a sound system that sounds suspiciously like a busted jukebox, rising above the tumult of clinking glasses, raucous conversation, and at least one bar fight about to break out. Your nose detects a unique mélange of stale whiskey, spilled beer, sawdust, and sour sweat.

(Anyone going to hand over their weapons or are you going to attempt to conceal them?)

Hecate puts her water down and keeps staring out the window, as if keeping an eye on her surroundings. "Weapons specialist, for a lack of a better term. Guns, blades, punching people, that's my territory." Hecate's pieces of confiscated gear had been numerous - two knives, a collapsing staff, a stun baton, a set of reinforced gloves, taser, hold-out pistol, large revolver, machine pistol, lever-action shotgun, and lever-action sporting rifle. Almost all of the gear had disappeared into concealed holsters quickly, leaving the elf with the shotgun, rifle, and revolver - almost like a strange, pointed-eared figure from an Old West trid. You're not sure what's stranger, the fact that she can hide that many weapons in her coat, or the fact that everything she was carrying was legal or restricted.

Last to introduce his skills is Doctor Shadow, the dwarf with the common handle. "Well, I patch people up, be it using magic or medicine. I can sling some mojo if needed, and in a pinch I can shoot a gun, but I stay out of the astral realm. I can see into it just fine, just can't project. Spirits handle the astral for me." The dwarf is armed with a knife, taser, and machine pistol, not uncommon armaments for any runner.

Banshee is the name of a bar in Redmond, nobody's quite sure where the name came from. Other then that, nothing notable about the bar comes to mind. Then again, low-key establishments are a good place to meet with Mr Johnson, since you're out of the way of anyone looking for high-profile figures. That being said, whoever it is that has work for you is definitely a low-level person, no self-respecting megacorp Mr Johnson would ever be caught hiring deniable assets in a place that low scale.

Either KE hadn't had time to put a boot on Weatherman's van, or they already removed it, but the van starts up and the dogbrain obediently begins to converge on the Soybucks, quickly reporting that it has gotten stuck in the usual morning rush hour.

"Can't say I know much about Banshee," Cameron says, drinking his tea, having declined 'that insufferable soy-based filth' in favor of 'a far superior beverage,' but still cringing at the taste of the low-quality tea offered at Soybucks. "I do my best to avoid Redmond unless someone really needs me out there."

"All right so if you guys are good with meeting the client, I've got to be at the Bellvue District Courthouse in an hour," Annie says before draining her soycaf. Clearly this isn't a question, you've been volunteered for a job. Still, how often do you get free legal help and a job from the same person? "All I know is its a quick job the client needs done, so don't expect much in the way of pay, but there is a guarantee you will be paid," she says before heading out to her car, clearly expecting the odd group of metas to find their own transportation - plus they should probably also work out who has what skills, so that they know what they have at their disposal for whatever run has been dropped in their laps.
